The business was founded in 1998 and has been a fixture in the small-business-landscape of Rochester, MI, ever since. The Bakery uses old-world techniques including natural bread starters, hand shaping, freshly-made pastries from scratch and artfully laminated doughs. We have a broad offering of croissants, breakfast pastries, dessert pastries, cakes, and cookies made at our main location in Rochester. We are proud partners of many restaurants in Metro Detroit. We have the most talented bread and pastry teams, supported by our highly qualified counter staff that takes care of our retail customers’ needs. The bakery is currently open Tuesday through Saturday, closed on Sunday and Monday.
We are looking for energetic, outgoing personalities for our counter team at the Give Thanks Bakery location in Royal Oak and Rochester.
The job includes:
· serving customers with an upbeat, courteous and accommodating attitude
· developing a knowledge level of the making of our baked goods
· teaching or learning the art of making espresso drinks
· dishwashing of serving trays
· clean up duties like sweeping, vacuuming and mopping at the end of day
Pay range is $12-15 depending on experience and tenure. Successful candidates have the opportunity to become part of a diverse and inclusive team with long-term employment prospects. Counter Staff/Baristas will participate in the company-wide tip pool.

The Job:
• Pack and stack wholesale bread and pastry between 3am – 7am Tuesday through Saturday
• Requires careful attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
